E-Learning Technology
The major components of an E-Learning Solutions are:

1) Learning Management Systems (LMS) - LMS is a framework, which facilitates learning environment. The LMS registers users, tracks courses in a catalog, and records data from learners and also provides reports to management. It usually doesn't include its own authoring capabilities; instead, it focuses on managing courses created by a variety of other sources. LMS products typically provide functionality such as:

o Competency and skills management
o Skills gap analysis
o Resource management
o Inter-connectivity with Virtual Collaboration (VC), LCMS and enterprise
  applications
Amartech has more than 2 years of experience in working with various LMS. We have also developed custom LMS(s) to meet the specific needs of our clients. The LMS which we bring to the table has the flexibility to be customized so as to meet the demands of today's e-learning solutions. We also have the capability to integrate other LMS products available in the market. We evaluate the client needs and based on the requirements either suggest a third party LMS or bring in our own LMS

2) Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS)

LCMS software products are primarily responsible for creating, managing, maintaining, delivering and tracking web-based content and provide functionality such as:

o Content migration and management
o Learning Object repository
o Content reuse and adaptive individualized learning paths based on
   Learning Objects
o Asynchronous collaborative learning via mail and discussion groups
o Testing and certification
o Inter-connectivity with Virtual Collaboration (VC), LMS and enterprise   applications

With our expertise and experience, we can help you in creating, managing and delivering the custom web-based content which best suites your requirements for training.

3) Collaboration

Collaboration is not a discipline or practice in and of itself, and only takes on meaning when embedded within a specific business problem (e.g. e-learning teleconferencing, on-line meeting, M&As, remote project management, co-developing products, etc.)

Collaboration is a set of skills and a method that leads to better and faster completion of work. Collaboration can encompass a variety of behaviors, attitudes and results, including communication, information sharing, coordination, cooperation, problem solving, and negotiation.

It is a key ingredient in enabling knowledge learning, including informal learning.

Collaboration among people and groups often involves a unique set of business problems in which:

o The work involves complex interactions between people who may be
geographically dispersed and desire to work across function and
  discipline lines
o The ad hoc nature of work requires the flexibility in work process and
the ability to involve others in the work quickly and easily
o Relationship mgt is the key component of doing work
o Creating and sharing information quickly and easily in the team is
critical to how the work gets done and keeping everyone on the same
   page

Benefits of collaboration

o Productivity and performance are increased
o Products are designed and brought to market quickly
o Workplace learning is enhanced
o Knowledge capital is enriched
